RECYCLE AWARENESS PROGRAM WITH GAMUDA TOWNSHIP

KDEBWM has received a visit from officials from GAMUDA Township to learn about KDEBWM but-back recycling centre. The visits from landscape architects and adminsitrative officers of GAMUDA Township were briefed about the operation of the buy-back recycling centre, the types of items received or transacted. They were briefed as to why KDEBWM promoting recycling activities as part of the business segment other than the core business in doemstic waste collection and public cleansing. They were briefd about the rate of recycling items received at this centre. The most exciting in this session was they have a chance to sell their recyclable items they brought along such as paper, can, used plastic bottles and used cooking oil at this centre.
