Encik Ahmad Rizal Mohd Daud started his career as an Auditor at Ernst & Young Malaysia from 2003 until 2013. During his 11 years tenure with Ernst & Young Malaysia, he was involved in statutory and special audits of public listed companies and multinational corporations of various industries as well as reporting accountants for IPO exercise.
Working at a “Big 4” accountancy firm, he had carried his experience over to Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (KDEB) as the Senior Manager of Finance in 2014 to oversee the financial reporting, budgeting, and corporate matters of the KDEB’s Group. He then joined KDEB Waste Management (KDEBWM) as Head of Finance in 2017 before being promoted as KDEBWM’s General Manager of Corporate Services a year after and currently he is the Senior General Manager Corporate Services.
In this capacity, he leads KDEBWM’s finance and reporting, staff development, corporate image building strategy and business support matters. He also works closely with the Managing Director in developing corporate goals and strategies and long-term objectives of the Company.
He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) since 2009 and had obtained a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the MARA University of Technology (UiTM), Malaysia. He also hold a master’s degree in Business Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia and a Certified Chartered Manager (C. Mgr. ) from Chartered Management Institute United Kingdom.
Ahadi Bin Haji Mohd Nasir is currently the General Manager of Subsidiary Management and Project Delivery Division at KDEB Waste Management. Ahadi is versatile and has diverse experiences in Operation, Strategic Planning, Human Resources, General Administration and Building Management in various industries namely the public sector, utility, education, property development, engineering & construction, manufacturing and presently in the Waste Management Industry.
He was instrumental in leading the operation of KDEBWM and was actively involved in taking over the domestic waste collection and public cleansing services from the Municipal Councils in Selangor.
Prior to joining KDEBWM, he was a former General Manager of Corporate Services at Hub Technologies (M) Sdn. Bhd., a manufacturing company producing green aerosol fire suppression system and the Administration Manager at MMC Gamuda KVMRT (PDP) Sdn. Bhd., a project delivery partner for Malaysia's iconic Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) project.
He started his career under the Prime Minister Department and was assigned to Bahagian Pengurusan Perkhidmatan dan Sumber Manusia. His career then flourished with Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (KDEB) group of companies, a Selangor State Investment arm. He began his career with KDEB as a Human Resource and Administration Executive under the Management Trainee scheme. He was fast-tracked through his career progression after being promoted as the Human Resource and Administration Manager at Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad, a public listed entity under KDEB at the young age of 26. Since then, he has gone through other professional phases in his career up to the point he is today.
Ahadi graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Information Studies majoring in records management. He was one of the top students for the course. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Anglia Ruskin University, United Kingdom graduating with distinction, as well as being one of the top students.
Puan Nurul Asyiqin Md Nazeri age 34, is the Head of Legal and Secretarial KDEB Waste Management. Puan Nurul Asyiqin graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Honours from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2009.
She began her pupillage in Messrs Othman Hashim & Co and was called to the Bar and admitted as an advocate and solicitor of Malaya in 2010. Later, due to her dynamic ability in litigation, she was offered to become the Legal Associate in the same firm.
She then widens her experience by joining Messrs Low & Lee whereby she actively involved in conveyancing and corporate work particularly handling housing projects for reputable developers.
Prior to joining KDEBWM, she served as the Group Senior Executive for Legal Department in Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (“KDEB”) in 2014 where she advised KDEB and its subsidiaries including KDEBWM on corporate and legal matters.
In 2018, based on her splendid skills and experiences, she was transferred to KDEBWM and was appointed as Assistant Manager of Legal Department before being promoted to KDEBWM’s Head of Legal a year after.
As Head of Legal and Secretarial, Puan Nurul Asyiqin is responsible to manage all legal affairs and company secretarial services of KDEBWM and its subsidiary.
Puan Hajjah Mahfuzah Muhammad Tarmidi started her career as Human Resource Executive at Puncak Niaga (M) Sdn Bhd (“PNSB”) from 1996 and left the company in year 2012 with her last position as Head of Human Capital Department. During her seventeen (17) years tenure with Puncak Niaga (M) Sdn Bhd, she has involved in the full spectrum of Human Resource and Administration from recruitment and selection, payroll and reward administration, training and development, industrial relations and employees’ engagement, trade union, succession planning and talent management, innovation and quality management, general administration, asset management and strategic management.
Working at public listed company (PLC) of water business segment, she had carried her vast experience over to Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (“Perangsang Selangor”) and Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (“KDEB”) as the Group Human Resource Manager in 2012 to oversee the whole group of companies’ performance through balanced scorecard best practices, strategic succession planning, talent management, learning and staff development, industrial relations, HR statutory regulations, payroll and reward management.
In 2017, she then joined KDEB Waste Management (“KDEBWM”) as Head of Media and Administration Department before the department is assigned to focus on total corporate communication and public relations which is later known as Media & Public Relations Department. She is now the Assistant General Manager Corporate Communication of KDEBWM. In this roles, she has led and established KDEBWM’s corporate image building strategy, strategic media communication, effective public relations and engagement, sustainability initiative and corporate social responsibilities.
She is now the member of the Malaysian Institute of Public Relations (“IPRM”) and had obtained a Bachelor in Islamic Revealed Knowledge (Hons) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in year 1996 and holds a Professional Diploma in Industrial Relations (DIR) from Malaysia Employers Federations (MEF) in year 2002. She also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration at Universiti Utara Malaysia and Certified Chartered Manager by Chartered Management Institute, United Kingdom.
Haji Hairi Ali, age 62 years old, is one of the experts in the Waste-to-Energy projects in Malaysia. He was the transaction advisor in setting up Waste-to-Energy Systems and Project Development, including both commercial and technical aspects, under the Public-Private Partnership model. He involved in developing high-temperature technology using solid fuel when he was with Dreamedge Sdn Bhd and other parties to propose a revamp of the four mini-incinerators built by KPKT and replaced it with new solution which is based on the Rotary Kiln Combustion system.
>Haji Hairi was the former CEO of Enviro Waste Energy, a company that specialises in integrating technology for waste disposal through thermal processes. He involved in major Waste-to-Energy (WTE) consultancy and helped develop WTE solutions either through direct engineering, procurement, or construction (EPC) or through Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and Private Finance Initiatives (PFI) procurement advisory. He also involved in advising the operation and maintenance of the Tioman Island Incinerator and involved in the retendering process of the KL Kepong 1000 tons per day incinerator, by providing expert guidance on the technical specifications and procurement procedures.
Prior to that, he was the CEO of Suasana Prima Sdn Bhd and was actively involved in proposing a series of large-scale incinerators for Malaysia to the Federal Government. He also was one of the co-founders and Executive Director/Project Director of XCNT Technology Sdn Bhd (XCNT) in which his role is to oversee the marketing and development of the company's cutting-edge thermal treatment solution, which aimed to tackle garbage disposal through solid fuel high-temperature direct combustion engineering.
Haji Hari was graduated in Bachelor of Science majoring in Housing, Building & Planning with Honours, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and is proficient in various CAD/CAE software programs, including Catia, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SketchUp and well verse in Microsoft Office for project finance financial modelling.
Encik Mohd Idris Mohamed Yusof is the General Manager of Operations Division for KDEB Waste Management (KDEBWM). As an operation expert, he has a comprehensive understanding of the process and dynamics of Solid Waste Management industry. He leads the full spectrum of operation including the taking over exercise of domestic waste collection and public cleansing services by KDEBWM in the whole of Selangor.
Encik Mohd Idris started his career in 1996, at Sony Technology Sdn Bhd as Senior Operation Officer. Prior to joining KDEB Waste Management, he was with Alam Flora Sdn Bhd since year 2002 and his last position with Alam Flora Sdn Bhd was as Deputy State Manager for Pahang State.
In 2016, he then later joined KDEB Waste Management as Assistant General Manager Operations and was later appointed as Acting General Manager of Hebat Abadi Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of KDEB Waste Management to oversee the whole spectrum of operation of the said company.
Encik Mohd Idris holds a Bachelor degree of Economics from University Utara Malaysia (UUM) in 1996 and graduated of master’s degree in business administration from the same university on year 2023. He also the Certified Chartered Manager from Chartered Management Institute United Kingdom (C.Mgr.). Apart from that he is also a registered Internal Auditor for ISO 9000 and a member of Solid Waste Association of Malaysia.
Nazar Abdul Raof is an experienced leader in the environmental and waste management sector. He is currently with KDEB Waste Management (KDEBWM), driving efforts to achieve full compliance with Act 672. As Assistant General Manager, Nazar is tasked with developing strategic frameworks to position KDEBWM as the leading concessionaire, optimizing resources, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering strategic collaborations to enhance the company’s operational excellence and sustainability initiatives.
Nazar’s career began in 1998 in the semiconductor industry, where he gained extensive expertise in process optimization, project management, and cross-functional collaboration during his tenure with KESM Industries Sdn Bhd, Motorola Malaysia Sdn Bhd, and Freescale Sdn Bhd. His strengths in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical issue resolution have been pivotal to his success across diverse industries.
Prior to joining KDEBWM, Nazar dedicated over a decade to Alam Flora Sdn Bhd, beginning as Quality Management Manager in 2011 and ultimately serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Alam Flora Environmental Solutions Sdn Bhd (AFES). At AFES, he spearheaded initiatives grounded in circular economy principles, focusing on reducing reliance on landfills and maximizing the value of recyclable and reusable resources.
Nazar’s strong academic background includes an Executive master's in management from Asian Metropolitan University (2017), a Degree in Physics from the University of Malaya (1998), and an MBA from Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate Business School (OYAGSB) at Universiti Utara Malaysia (2023).He also the Certified Chartered Manager from Chartered Management Institute United Kingdom (C.Mgr.).This diverse education underpins his expertise in both technical and managerial aspects of environmental solutions.
