DUBAI EXPO 2022

Expo 2020 Dubai  is a World Expo hosted by Dubai in the United Arab Emirates which is held from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. Countries from all over the world participate in this prestigious expo which is held every five years. This time, Dubai is chosen as the hosted country to hold this world event.
 
Malaysia is one of the invited country to participate in this event to showcase products, services etc. As for Selangor state it is also being invited to participate in this Expo to show case the four domains that drive Selangor to become smart state in Malaysia. Four domain that being identified are Smart Government, Smart Economy, Smart Community, and Smart Digital Infrastructure. In addition, renewables will play an even bigger roles in the future, thus sustainability aspects are one of the main agenda in making Selangor as Regional Smart State in year 2025.
 
In this regards, smart waste management is also part of important  nucleus of these four domains to form smart state. The presence of KDEB Waste Management in this Expo together with Selangor delegates is significant and will play important role to reach out to the waste management players and technology providers in the world for exchange of views and business partnership.
