LAWATAN SAMBIL BELAJAR KE JERAM SANITARY LANDFILL

The Corporate Communications Department today organised a visit to the Jeram Sanitary Disposal Site on 10 July 2023.

The visit was attended by 13 people comprising the Media, Public Relations & Administration Department, Human Resources Department, Project Implementation Department, Legal Department, Technical & Equipment Department, Finance Department, and Kuala Langat Branch Operations. Six (6) of them are new KDEBWM employees and seven (7) are practical students who are undergoing industrial training at KDEBWM.

During the visit, staff and practical students were exposed to sanitary disposal operations, leachate treatment plant, landfill gas treatment plant, ISWMC and Environment Monitoring.

This visit provides some exposure and understanding of the waste disposal process handled by Worldwide Landfills Sdn Bhd.
