Sustainability and CSR Activities

On 10th December 2024, KDEB Waste Management (KDEBWM) had the privilege of receiving a courtesy visit from Chongqing Water & Environment and Chongqing Sanfeng. The discussions focused on KDEBWM ongoing efforts in sustainable waste management, particularly highlighting our recycling initiatives and Waste-to-Energy (WTE) projects. These initiatives are part of our broader commitment to creating a cleaner, greener future through innovative and sustainable solutions.

The senior management team from KDEBWM, led by Encik Ahmad Rizal Mohd Daud, Senior General Manager of Corporate Services, alongside Tn Haji Hairi Ali, General Manager of Waste to Energy (WTE), and Encik Nazar Abdul Raof, Assistant General Manager of Operations, engaged in insightful and productive discussions with the esteemed guests.

The Chongqing Water & Environment delegation was represented by Mr. Qu Bin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, Mr. Si Jingzhong, Vice Chairman and General Manager, Mr. Ming Yancheng, Director of the Office, Mr. Qian Jing, Board Secretary and Deputy General Manager, Mr. Yang Qingbo, Director of the Investment Management Department, and Mr. Kevin Lu, Director of the International Business Department.

This visit marks an important step in fostering international collaboration to further advance sustainable waste management practices. We look forward to the potential opportunities for future partnerships that will contribute to environmental sustainability and innovation in the waste management sector.
