WORKING VISIT TO CHINA- KDEBWM & SWCORP

KDEB Waste Management (KDEBWM) was invited by SWCorp to participate in an official working visit to China from 20 -26 April, covering the cities of Shanghai, Suizhou, and Wuhan.

Representing KDEBWM on this visit are Managing Director Dato’ Haji Ramli Mohd Tahir and General Manager of Waste To Energy, Haji Hairi Ali.

This visit, organized by SWCorp, aims to explore the latest technologies in solid waste management and to facilitate discussions with local Chinese authorities.

During the visit, the delegation engaged with leading companies such as Chengli Automobile Group and the China Clean Environment Protection Company (CCEPC), observing advanced waste management technologies including EV Compactors and EV Road Sweepers capable of operating during nighttime.

This initiative serves as a strategic platform for knowledge exchange, innovation sharing, and exploring smart, sustainable solutions to enhance Malaysia’s waste management systems.
