The Signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Between KDEBWM and UUM on TVET (Technical, Education and Vocational Training)

12 July 2024- KDEB Waste Management (KDEBWM) is proud to announce a strategic Research Collaboration Agreement with the School of Education at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) to enhance awareness of TVET (Technical Education and Vocational Training) at Hotel Mardhiyyah, Shah Alam.
The agreement was signed by YBhg. Dato’ Haji Ramli Mohd Tahir, Managing Director of KDEBWM and YBhg. Professor Dato’ Dr. Mohd Fo’ad Sakdan, Vice Chancellor of UUM, witnessed by YBrs. Mohd Idris Bin Mohamed Yusof, General Manager Operations of KDEBWM and YBhg. Professor Dr. Russayani Binti Ismail, Deputy Vice Chancellor, (Research and Innovation), UUM.
This research will be conducted by Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Haji Shanusi Haji Ahmad as the head of the research, together with fellow researcher, Professor Ts. Dr. Irwan Mahazir Ismail.
The research initiative will assess TVET awareness of KDEBWM workforce in waste management industry, with anticipated benefits includes improving technical skills and competencies for optimizing daily operations, whilst strengthening business sustainability.
Furthermore, the research findings are expected to contribute to academic publications and literature, serving as a valuable resource for students, researchers, lecturers, and the broader community.
