KDEB WASTE MANAGEMENT SIGNS RESEARCH COLLABORATION AGREEMENT WITH UNIVERSITI UTARA MALAYSIA (UUM) ON WASTE MANAGEMENT OPERATION
AND RECYCLING INITIATIVE

KDEB Waste Management hereby announced that it has signed a Research Collaboration Agreement (RCA) with School of Technology, Management & Logistics of Universiti Utara Malaysia (STML UUM) around waste management operation efficiency and recycling initiative.
In this collaboration, KDEB Waste Management will provide financial support as a grant and officials from Operation Divisions and Recycle Division of KDEBWM will support UUM throughout the one-year research projects for the data collection, interviews, site visit etc.
KDEB Waste Management strongly agree that this research collaboration can benefit the company in various aspects such as in financial, daily business operation, sustainability, and many more. On the other hand, this collaboration will add to the academic journals, literature review and reference for the students, researchers, and lecturers and the education at large.
In the signing ceremony, KDEBWM is represented by YBhg Dato' Hj Ramli Mohd Tahir, KDEBWM's Managing Director whereby UUM was represented by Professor Dr. Russayani Ismail, the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research & Innovation.
KDEB Waste Management as a subsidiary of the Menteri Besar Incorporated Selangor (MBI) who has been mandated by the Selangor State Government to manage solid waste in Selangor, will always enhance waste management operation efficiency to keep Selangor State clean and green.
