INTERNATIONAL SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE 2024, CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA.

KDEB Waste Management (KDEBWM) is honored to participate in the ISWA World Congress 2024, hosted by the Waste Management Association of Malaysia (WMAM) from 15-20 September 2024 in Cape Town, South Africa.

Our delegation is led by YB Dato' Ng Suee Lim, Chairman of KDEBWM, accompanied by YBhg. Dato' Haji Ramli Mohd Tahir, Managing Director of KDEBWM, and Encik Idris Mohamed Yusof, General Manager of KDEBWM.

This marks the first time the prestigious ISWA World Congress is being held in Africa. Under the theme, “Waste to Wealth: Solutions for a Sustainable Future,” the event addresses crucial topics in the global waste management landscape, bringing together a diverse group of professionals—government officials, industry experts, policymakers, scientists, and thought leaders—to collaborate on advancing sustainable solid waste solutions.

As the national association for waste management professionals, WMAM plays a pivotal role in fostering dialogue and partnerships, both locally and internationally, for the improvement of waste management practices.
