YB Dato' Ng Suee Lim, aged 54, was appointed as a Director of KDEB Waste Management on 1 August 2024 and is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company. He completed his Malaysia Higher Education Certificate and served as Selangor State Speaker of Dewan Negeri Selangor from June 2018 until June 2023. YB Dato' Ng Suee Lim is currently a member of the Selangor State Assembly for Sekinchan and the Selangor State Executive Councillor of Local Councils and Tourism. Heading this current portfolio, YB Dato' Ng Suee Lim is tasked to focus on the local councils matters including waste management and tourism for the sustainable growth of the industry.
YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, aged 53, was appointed as a Director of KDEB Waste Management on 13 October 2020 and is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Trine University in Indiana, the United States of America. YB Tuan Ng Sze Han is currently a member of the Selangor State Assembly for Kinrara and the Selangor State Executive Councillor of Investment & Trade, and Mobility . Heading this current portfolio, Yang Berhormat Tuan Ng Sze Han is tasked to focus on the trade and investment for Selangor State, mobility and the economic growth.
YBhg. Dato' Hj Ramli Mohd Tahir (D.S.I.S) (Selangor), age 52, is the Managing Director and Board Member of KDEB Waste Management. Dato’ Hj Ramli was appointed as Board of Director KDEB Waste Management on 13 October 2011. Dato' Hj Ramli graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) from Universiti Utara Malaysia in 1996 and later in 2005 he obtained his Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of East London, United Kingdom. In 2019, he has successfully completed ASEAN Senior Management of Harvard Business School certification. Dato' Hj Ramli began his career as banker in 1996 with a stint at Hong Leong Bank, Public Finance and last as Assistant Vice President of Corporate and Strategic Planning at Affin Bank Berhad and in 2001 he joined Maybank London Branch as Operation Back Office in Trade Finance for three (3) years. After returning from London in 2005, He later joined Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (“KDEB”) in 2006, an investment arm for the Selangor State Government which holds strategic stakes in water business, oil and gas, telecommunication, highway infrastructure, property development, hospitality & recreation as well as solid waste management as Manager then later promoted as Senior Manager in Corporate Planning. Dato’ Hj Ramli has more than sixteen (16) years of experience working in the waste management industry since 2008, when the Selangor State Government agreed to the KDEB proposal to acquire 21% shares in Alam Flora Sdn Bhd (AFSB). He was then appointed to the position of alternate Director of KDEB at AFSB. From 2016 to 2020, he spearheads KDEB Waste Management to successfully take over the waste management in all the twelve (12) Selangor Municipal Councils. He has successfully transformed the Company into full fledge operating Company, uplifted the revenue of the Company from RM12.5 million a year to RM530 million and strikes seven (7) years business deal with order book value (“OBV”) amounting to RM3.3 billion for the domestic waste collection and public cleansing in the whole State of Selangor. For a record, KDEBWM now is the largest waste collector company in Malaysia with the back of current total asset of the Company approximately RM308 million. Ever since his leadership as the head of the Company, Dato' Hj Ramli has successfully position KDEB Waste Management as the leading smart waste company in Malaysia and Asia Pacific Region. Dato' HJ Ramli has successfully led the Company obtaining ISO 9001 certification for quality management, ISO 14001 certification for environmental management and ISO 45000 for occupational safety and health. Dato’ Hj Ramli has also driven the Company for a several outstanding achievement for KDEB Waste Management such as Best Practice Award for Smart Waste Solutions Company of the Year by Frost & Sullivans, Corporate Excellence in Utility Sector as Malaysia Smart Waste Management Company by International Business Review Asia, the Best Brands Prominent Award by The Brand Laureate , Best Public Sector Award for iClean Selangor Apps for year 2023.The leadership of YBhg. Dato' Hj Ramli has also brought KDEBWM been awarded as leading Smart Waste Management in Business Sinar Award 2023 by Sinar Harian media. Dato' Hj Ramli is regularly invited as a Panelist and Guest Speaker for local and international seminars, workshops, conferences, dialogues and talks, speaking on waste related topics. His famous quote is “WASTE IS NOT DIRTY BUT WASTE IS MONEY” In year 2022, YBhg. Dato' Hj Ramli was conferred with Darjah Kebesaran Dato'- Sultan Sharafudin Idris Shah (D.S.I.S) by Kebawah Duli Tuanku Sultan Selangor.
Puan Hajah Norita Mohd Sidek age 63, was appointed as Director of KDEB Waste Management on 1 August 2020. She holds Bachelor of Economics (Hons), majoring in Statistic Economics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a Master in Business Administration from University of Malaya.
She was previously the Chief Operating Officer of Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (“PKNS”) and had been serving PKNS for thirty- six (36) years. She has vast experience and exposure in property development, real estate management, commercial and mix development as well as new township development. On 1st December 2020 she was then appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (“MBI”).
She was awarded with Pingat Pekerti Terpilih (P.P.T) , Ahli Mangku Negara (A.M.N) and Pingat Setia Mahkota Selangor (S.M.S) in recognition of her contributions.
Yang Berhormat Tuan Dr Mohamad Fahmi Ngah age 49, was appointed as a Director of KDEB Waste Management on 7 November 2016. Yang Berhormat is currently the Selangor State Councillor for Islamic Religious & Digital Innovation. He holds a First-class Honours Degree in Engineering and later obtained a Doctorate in Aeronautics from Imperial College, London, United Kingdom. Yang Berhormat was a PERDANA Scholarship holder and was also awarded the prestigious Tun Ismail Ali Award for the Best UK graduate from the British Malaysian Society and the National Youth Award from the Malaysian Ministry of Youth and Sports. Yang Berhormat has served the United Kingdom Defence Research Agency (now QinetiQ PLC) as Senior Technology Consultant for Aerostructures and Computational Probabilistic Methods, where he led several European Aerospace Research Programs together with the UK Defence and Science Technology Laboratory. He later moved to British Energy and EDF Energy, a UK corporate sector, as a Front Office Senior Quant. His last position in the corporate sector was at CIMB Investment Bank Malaysia as the Head of Commodity Trading and Derivatives Structuring, where he was responsible for managing the bank's commodity corporate clients in the ASEAN region. He joined MBI Selangor under the CEO's office and was later appointed as the Managing Director for SSDU Innovations Sdn. Bhd. with the responsibility to deliver innovative digital initiatives under the Smart Selangor Smart State Programme. Yang Berhormat Tuan Dr Fahmi was previously entrusted by the Selangor Chief Minister to head the Selangor Research Institute, an internal think tank for the Selangor State Government on economic and digital innovation policy development, and also to support the delivery of the 5-year Rancangan Selangor-1 initiatives by the state. Yang Berhormat is regularly invited as panellist and speaker at local and international seminars, workshops, conferences, academic dialogues and talks, speaking on various topics related to Selangor State Initiatives particularly on the economy, digital innovation and technology.
Yang Berhormat Tuan Halimey Abu Bakar age 49, was appointed as a Director of KDEB Waste Management on 13 October 2020. He holds Diploma in Professional Management from Asia E-University.
He is a currently member of the Selangor State Assembly for Seri Setia and Councillor Member at Zone 24 of Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (“MBPJ”). In 2008, he was the Sports Executive Officer at Majlis Sukan Negeri Selangor.
Yang Berhormat Tuan Halimey is active with the community’s activities and he has been successfully managed to resolve various issues related to the public concern.
YBrs. Ts. Hj Saipolyazan M Yusop, age 54, was appointed as a Director of KDEB Waste Management on 1 April 2024. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia with Honours and a Professional Technologist of Electrical and Electronics Technology by Malaysia Board of Technologies. His area of expertise is in Facilities and Asset Management, Infrastructure Solutions, Project Management Planning & Development and Administration and Managing of Zakat Fund.
Ts. Hj Saipolyazan is currently the Group Chief Executive Officer ("GCEO") of Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated) ("MBI"), he is pivotal in administering the Selangor states assets and investment, playing a significant role in promoting and supporting state development efforts as well as social and public responsibilities. He also sits as Board Member of Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad , Invest Selangor Berhad , Kumpulan Semesta Sdn Bhd and Landasan Lumayan Berjaya Sdn Bhd
Ts. Hj Saipolyazan possesses over thirty (30) years of experience spanning both the public and private sectors, including roles in foreign-based entities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ("KSA"). He has previously served as the Head of Country (KSA) for UEM Edgenta Berhad and as the Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") for Edgenta Arabia Limited, as well as the Head of Facility Management for Alborj Facility Management Ltd. During his time in UEM Edgenta Berhad, Ts. Hj Saipolyazan also served as a Board member of UEM Mediserve Sdn Bhd.
Additionally, Ts. Hj Saipolyazan has also acquired expertise across various domains such as facilities and asset management, infrastructure solutions, project management and planning & development. Prior to joining MBI, Ts. Hj Saipolyazan was the CEO of Lembaga Zakat Selangor ("LZS"). As the CEO of LZS, he is responsible for the administration and managing of Zakat Funds.
